Indexing your site and other coof stuffs with Google

Being indexed means that your site is already being cached by google therefore allowing searchers to be directed to them. Here's how to check whether google has indexed your site.

1. Go to www.google.com
2. Enter "site:http://www.yoursite.com" in the search box then press enter.
3. If results are shown, that means your site has already been indexed.

To check for google's cache of your site, use this.

1. Go to www.google.com
2. Enter "info:http://www.yoursite.com" in the search box then press enter.
3. If your site has already been indexed, google should provide you with links where you can check for the cache, for similar sites to your site, for sites linking to you, and other useful information. You can use these information to better optimize your site. These are some of the many factors considered indetermining your page rank.
